Dubuffet: Works from a Private Collection

1 July - 13 September 2013

E&R Cyzer, 23 Bruton Street, London W1J 6QF

E&R Cyzer are proud to present an exhibition of works by Jean Dubuffet from a private collection.

The show comprises a unique and arresting group of Dubuffet’s later paintings, spanning from 1956 – the zenith of his collaged ‘art brut’ period – till 1981, by which time he had embraced a highly colourful, simplistic, intuitive and hastily-worked style.

The works on show present prime examples from distinct and celebrated stages in Dubuffet’s career, including the ‘Assemblages,’ ‘Hourloupe,’ ‘Partitions,’ ‘Lieux abrégés’ and ‘Psycho-sites’ series.
